Changing the Password for the Client Portal

After being activated for the Caliper Client Portal, you will receive a welcome email.

To begin using the Caliper Client Portal, follow these steps:

  1. Open the email, and click Reset Password. The Change your password dialog appears.

  2. Enter your new password in the New Password field.
  3. Re-enter your new password in the Confirm New Password field.
  4. Click Change my password. The Log In screen appears.

To log in to the Portal using your email address:

  1. Enter your email address in the Email field (It may appear automatically.).
  2. In the Password field, enter the password you just established.

    Note:

    On a privately used machine, you can select the Remember me on this computer checkbox. This will automatically enter your email address in future sessions, saving you a step.

  3. Click Log In. The Caliper Client Portal Dashboard appears with a one-time message asking that you agree to the site's use of cookies.

  4. Click Accept to agree.

Logging In Using a Social Network Account

You also have the option to log in to the Portal with a single sign-on, using your Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, or Office365 account; once it is properly linked to your Caliper Portal account.

Before you log in to the Caliper Portal with a single sign-on, you must establish a link between your Caliper Portal account and one of your social network accounts. To do so, perform the following:

  1. Log in to the Client Portal using your email address and password, as described above. The Caliper Client Portal Dashboard appears.
    Click "Your Name" to edit your account
  2. Click on your name in the upper-right portion of the Dashboard. The My Account screen appears.

  3. Click on any of the social network icons at the top of the My Account screen to link your social-media credentials to your Caliper Portal account. We have chosen LinkedIn. You will then be prompted on the social network site to choose your account and log in.

    Important:

    Ensure that the email address with which you signed up for the Caliper Portal is associated with the desired social network account.

    At the left side of the page, should you not want to remember and enter your password each time you log in, you can single-click on links to log into the Client Portal using your Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, or Office365 credentials. Just make certain that the e-mail address you used to sign up for the Portal is associated with the desired account.

Resetting a Forgotten Password

For security reasons, if you type the wrong password three successive times, your account will become locked, and you will have to reset your password. If you forget your password, or if your account becomes locked, click the Forgot your password? link and follow the prompts. You must be able to access the email associated with the Caliper Portal in order to reset your password.

If you enter invalid login credentials, an "Invalid email address or password" message appears in the upper-left corner of the screen.

If this happens, you will need to reset your password.

  1. Click the Forgot your password? link on the Log In page. A dialog with the title Forgot your password? appears.

  2. Enter your email address in the Email field.
  3. Click Send me reset password instructions. The following message appears:

    Shortly, you will receive an email with instructions and a link to reset your password:

    Important:

    The Reset Password link in this email allows you to reset your password functions as a "token," which provides temporary access to the Caliper Client Portal site. For security purposes, the Reset Password link, or token, will expire in 24 hours (or immediately after you reset your password, whichever comes first).

    If 24 hours have passed and your Reset Password token has expired, you can reinitiate the process by clicking the Forgot your password? link on the Log in dialog again to request a new token.

  4. Click Reset Password, or click the link in this email. The Change your password screen appears.

  5. Enter your new password in the New Password field.
  6. Reenter your new password in the Confirm New Password field.
  7. Click Change my password. The Log In dialog appears.

  9. Click Log In. The Dashboard appears.
